Police are pursuing love triangle factor in the murder of Hellen Kwamboka, a police officer attached to parliament police station.
Kwamboka was hacked to death in her Umoja estate house, Nairobi.
One of her boyfriend who claimed they had parted ways surrendered himself at Buruburu police station.
Friends say, the late was dating another man and was a frequent visitor at her residence.
Investigators are in frantic attempts to unearth whether the late was involved in another relationship that ended up annoying the lover or is she engaged in any business deal that went sour.
Detectives are also trying to figure out if the lover was mentally disturbed or if anything was stolen including money in case it was a normally robbery situation.
