Panic grips KeNHA as director summoned at DCI – Weekly Citizen

Panic is high at the Kenya National Highways Authority after a senior director Eng. Samwuel Omer the director highway, planning and design was summoned at Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters to avail various documents relating to current investigations being undertaken at the parastatal.

Investigations are aimed at uncovering massive corruption at the authority that runs into billions of shillings.

Also being investigated is the finance director a one Mr. Chemboi who is said to be holding fake academic papers and one Mr. Chelimo based at the procurement.

The Kenya National Highways Authority early this year instituted changes in its management amid mounting corruption claims in awarding tenders for construction of roads.
