Man Utd fail second bid to land Wan-Bissaka

A second bid to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace has been turned down.

Wan-Bissaka has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, with the Red Devils identifying the Palace full-back as the long-term solution at right-back, with Antonio Valencia leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of the month.

The Palace academy player has caught the eye with his impressive form for the club, with the 21-year-old making 39 appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side after establishing himself as the first choice right-back.

That is despite only making his professional debut in February 2018, when he was handed a start against Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park, with Palace struggling with injuries at the time.

But the England U21 international has impressed with his tackling, defensive awareness and ability to get forward down the right wing, with several potential suitors taking note of the full-back, who started out as a winger.

As such, there have been plenty of clubs linked this summer with a move to sign him, including United, but what is the latest on his future? We explore below.
