A former Nyanza MP left the County Assembly Committee members in stitches during vetting.
The politician claimed he had acquired an undergraduate and a Masters’ degree from a US-based University in a record two years.
“He was hostile and kept telling lies to the committee without batting an eyelid,” one of the MCAs was heard saying.
“Some of these Ward Reps have never gone beyond the County headquarters, yet they have the guts to question my education background. This is politics,” the angry politician who lost in the 2017 polls said.
The result of the vetting committee is not yet out.
