As the death of Jonathan Moi is being mourned in Kenya some people are pointing accusing fingers at Charles Nyachae for an illicit love affair that created division at the family of the late former President Moi elder son.
According to sources the late Jonathan was married to three wives but one of them eloped with the junior Nyachae.
Jonathan died at Mediheal hospital in Nakuru owned by Kasese Member of Parliament Dr. Swarup Ranjan Mishra said to be presently Kenyan richest MP.
Dr. Mishra popularly nick named Kiprop Arap Chelule became the first non-Kalenjin to be elected to parliament in Uasin Gishu County.
The gold-ring wearing MP apart from owning Mediheal Nakuru branch where Jonathan was treated before his death also owns other branches in Eldoret, Rwanda,Ethiopia, Congo and Burundi.
The body of Jonathan, 64, was transferred to Lee Funeral Home and doctors have instructed the family to ensure that only a few people directly get to the former President at the mourning period.
‘I have been asked by the Moi family to tell Kenyans to respect their privacy at this mourning period of their beloved kin’’, stated the family press secretary Lee Njiru .
Prior to his death Jonathan was admitted to Nairobi Hospital three weeks ago and diagnosed with cancer and was due for an advanced oversea treatment when he passed away at Mediheal Hospital.
