ANC must put its house in order – Weekly Citizen

With the surprise turn of events in Amani National Congress whose party leader is Musalia Mudavadi, it remains to be seen how the party will forge on with the battle lines already drawn between nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi and the man who replaced him as party secretary general Barrack Muluka.

Last month, the High Court ruled in favour of ANC which had chosen to

replace Osotsi as nominated MP. ANC had then moved to the High Court challenging the decision of the Political Parties and Disputes Tribunal.

However, the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal last Friday suspended the decision by the Registrar of Political Parties to remove Osotsi’s name from the ANC party list.

It is now clear that the battle for the party’s supremacy begins unless dialogue is given a chance to prevail to bring sanity among the warring parties. Otherwise, ANC will be destroyed politically and torn down the middle. What with Osotsi claiming he is the founder of the political vehicle!
