International flights resume – Kenyan Business Feed

International flights into and out of Kenya resumes today as per President Uhuru Kenyatta’s lifting of the cessation of movement last month.

Though there was a spat between Kenya and Tanzania, stemming from both countries banning flights into each other, 11 countries have been approved to fly into Kenya.

These are China, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, France, Rwanda, Uganda, Namibia and Morroco.

The CS for Transport James Macharia said, “Passengers arriving with flights after the curfew with a valid air ticket and boarding pass shall be allowed to their hotels or residences, drivers of those passengers should have evidence that they came to drop or pick up passengers.”

Five international airlines have already confirmed the resumption of services into the country. These are Emirates, Qatar, British Airways, KLM, and AirFrance.
