DJ Evolve’s mum narrates painful memory of the day she got the call on her son

Six months after being shot on the neck, DJ Evolve was released from the hospital to continue his recovery journey at home.

It is alleged that Babu Owino is the main suspect in DJ Evolve’s attempted murder case.

In an exclusive interview with Dan Mwangi on NTV, his mother spoke for the very first time on live TV. The one thing evident throughout the interview is that she is hurt and broken.

“On that fateful day(sigh). I am very emotional I do not want to talk about him. When I got the report that my son got an accident at his place of work, I was shocked and I felt everything has turned upside down. But I went to God and told him it has already happened but I pray he will stand by me and that he will save my son.” Evole’s mother emotionally spoke.

Adding that ever since her son was shot, her life took a turn. Everything she used to do stopped because she had to be there for her ailing son.

Since the 17th of January, everything on my end stopped because there is nothing much I can do when my son is like this. So I am always with him. He has been in the hospital for six months so these people claiming that I am the one that asked for his release yet I am not a doctor. I can not state if he is able to go home or stay in the hospital. I saw this in the newspaper and I was shocked because I have never spoken to anyone in the media so I do not know where they got the information from. As for me, my concentration is on my son and his wellbeing.

‘No one should judge me and I will not take it lightly!’ Babu Owino claims DJ Evolve is still a close friend

She held back her tears during the interview. It has been months since DJ Evolve was shot but it is still not easy for her to see her son in such a vulnerable situation.
