Redbull Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch says his team is targeting a win in tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League group E tie against Belgian outfit KRC Genk.
Marsch is aware of the Genk possessional type of play and wants his team to use their pace to influence the intensity of the game.
“We are ready for an intensive game. Our aim is very clear though, we want to win,” he said.
“Genk is, in general, a strong team that is very good in possession. We need to make our pressing count. We need to keep the game fast and intensive,” he added.
Midfielder Antoine Bernede says he is not nervous about the match and has confirmed that the whole team is looking forward to the game.
“Am not nervous at all, The whole team is looking forward to this game,” he said
Salzburg will host the Belgian side at the Redbull Arena with kick-offset for 21:00hrs. In the other Group E match defending champions Liverpool travel to Italy to face Napoli.
