Tanzanian artiste Rehema Chalamila alias Ray C is in mourning after suffering a miscarriage. It’s not clear how far along she was on her pregnancy journey.
Taking to social media Ray C wrote an emotional caption asking what one is supposed to do to avoid a miscarriage. She later deleted the post.
Naombeni ushauri kina mama wote nifanye mimba istoke? 😭😭 imeniuma! Imenibidi nishee nanyi. #mybabyisnomore💔 #mwanangukaendazake 💔.
Ray C’s past few years have been rough as she battled with drug addiction to the extent of being put into a rehabilitation centre.
She had in a touching post thanked former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete for holding her hand adding that he is the dad she never had.
I know you to be always loving and nurturing, to be warm-hearted and soft and to be caring and thoughtful.
This not only makes me proud but also makes me cherish all the gifts life has bestowed upon me. There army-baby-is-no-more-ray-c-mourns-after-suffering-a-miscarriagee no words to describe my immense love for you.
One thing that is most distinguishable of your character is humor.
Your humor has seen me through many trials. Your way of dealing with things is what people see in me too. You are my tower of strength.
I can never thank you enough for being an amazing example of a true human being in my life. @jakayakikwete
Her miscarriage comes a year after she officially introduced her mzungu boyfriend to the public as she took to social media with photos while chilling with her man.
The talented singer had travelled to the United Kingdom for a show alongside fellow Tanzanian musicians Rosa Ree, Aslay, Mheshimiwa Temba and Ben Pol but she decided to extend her stay in the UK to be with her man.
